Community
Chinese American Parent Association of Montgomery County serves and advocates for Chinese American families in Montgomery County. Our objective is to promote Chinese American parent involvement in school communities, to advocate on behalf of our students and parents, and to establish a strong partnership with all stakeholders to address educational issues and challenges.
Advocacy & partnership
We bring Chinese American parent perspectives to schools, PTAs, and the Board of Education to build better opportunities for every child.
Student clubs
A diverse family of student-led clubs — from journalism and IT to tennis, music, and community service — spanning elementary to high school.
Scholarships & awards
The Dr. Alan Cheung Community Leadership Scholarship and the President's Volunteer Service Award recognize youth who give back.
